
Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai was held for 184 days under the theme “Designing a Future Society for Our Lives.” TheExpo welcomed more than 29 million visitors and brought together 165 countries, regions, and internationalorganizations. People shared diverse values and cultures, along with the latest technologies, creating newopportunities for interactions and new possibilities. Through the Expo, OSAKA significantly strengthened itspresence on the global stage.
Osaka is committed to carrying forward the global attention and momentum generated by Expo 2025 as an “Expolegacy,” while continuing to take on new challenges to create an exciting and welcoming city for visitors fromaround the world.
Looking ahead, Osaka will continue to enhance its infrastructure and environment for hosting large-scaleinternational events. In addition, an integrated resort incorporating an international convention center, exhibitionhalls and entertainment venues is scheduled to open in 2030.
