I’m Dominique Gobeil, an event consultant and corporate team building specialist with Play with a Purpose, where I help companies create interactive experiences that strengthen communication, collaboration, leadership, and employee engagement. I specialize in designing custom team building events, experiential learning programs, corporate games, networking experiences, scavenger hunts, game shows, and large-group activities that use the power of play to bring people together.

My background blends creativity, facilitation, leadership, and event management. I earned a Theatre degree from a small college in Boston, which sparked my passion for using storytelling, creativity, and hands-on experiences to make learning more memorable. I also spent five years as the general manager of a fitness facility and four years with The Disney Company, experiences that helped shape my approach to leadership, guest engagement, and team development.

Since joining Play with a Purpose in 2022, I have traveled across the country managing and facilitating corporate events for groups of all sizes. My experience includes everything from team building game shows and scavenger hunts to leadership activities, CSR giveback programs, networking events, and fully customized corporate team experiences. Today, as an event consultant, I work closely with clients from the first conversation through program design, helping them choose or create an experience that supports their goals, audience, venue, and company culture.

What I love most about team building is finding ways to help people lower their guard and connect in a way that feels natural. My guiding question is always: How can we put participants in a state of play that encourages curiosity, breaks down barriers, and turns learning into a core memory?

My goal is to continue creating engaging corporate team building experiences that help organizations improve communication, strengthen relationships, develop leaders, and create meaningful shared moments — all while making sure people genuinely enjoy the experience.
