Jose Ramirez is the Director of Marketing at AFR Furniture Rental, bringing more than 18 years of marketing, brand, and event industry experience to his role. During his more than a decade with AFR, Jose has helped shape the company’s brand and national presence, leading marketing strategy, digital initiatives, trade show and event marketing, strategic partnerships, and creative experiences that connect AFR with audiences across the country.

A passionate advocate for the events and hospitality community, Jose currently serves as President of the San Diego Chapter of the National Association for Catering and Events (NACE). His industry involvement is driven by a belief in the power of relationships, collaboration, and creating opportunities that bring people and ideas together.

Jose approaches marketing through the intersection of creativity, strategy, technology, and experience. Whether developing a new brand activation, building an industry partnership, or finding new ways to engage an audience, he is always looking for opportunities to push ideas forward and create meaningful connections.

Outside of work, Jose loves traveling, discovering great food and music, and getting behind the decks to mix house music, preferably with a good tequila nearby. Above all, he values time spent with his wife, three kids, family, and friends.
