Michael T. McQuade is Senior Advisor, Commercial Strategies at the Seattle Convention Center, where his career has helped shape the evolution of convention center sales, client experience, and industry education for more than four decades. Since joining the founding team of what is now the Seattle Convention Center in 1984, Michael has played a key role in positioning the venue as a premier destination for meetings and conventions, contributing to multiple facility expansions—including the Summit addition—and advancing a consultative, service-centered approach that has influenced sales practices across the industry. A longtime IAVM member and active contributor to professional development, he helped launch the Emerging Sales Professionals program in IAVM Region 4 and has supported national sales education efforts through IAVM and PCMA. Known for his practical insight, generous mentorship, and hospitable leadership style, Michael brings deep venue expertise and a collaborative perspective to his participation in the MPI Smart Monday panel.
